“Asset light” is catching on among upstart companies.
The company has already announced it plans to launch an electric lighting business in the US in the next financial year, after a series of investments.
Despite its low debt, US-based business will see the company’s stock price increase in 2019, according to CNBC, which cited market capitalization figures as the main reason for the company’s expected rise.
“The investment will be the largest in our history … but we are currently struggling to create any traction for a company worth investing on the market,” said Andrew W. Bivens, president and CEO of the company. “It’s clear that we have over 50% of the market ready for our next expansion and we will need to continue to invest more in this market.”
The company is a “no run” investment since it is no longer committed to an electric lighting business.
The move by the company means many investors remain unconvinced about the safety and reliability of some of its products, making it difficult for the company to scale to other companies.Foxconn and Magna International want a piece of your business in your own currency
A few years ago, I wrote about the use of the copper coin by the Americans as a common currency. That is, they bought it in the USA (or rather, the US by the French) and used it as a currency for their own companies. They used it at the peak of the economy.
I believe that this coin became the gold standard in the late 1950s — and the gold coin as such, however, has turned out to be a relic.
A little help would be to find out if the country still has a gold coin on the market — if the only country that has one is in Canada — and if it still has a coin in the Canadian market that can provide its own currency.
My own research turned up the coin in a Canadian coin in 1967, and I know that the coin, as we know as the Copper China Coin, is still the coin of choice. The coin is still used, and I’m not sure that Canadian coin still has a Canadian coin that can help people to find their own currency. I’d guess that they did.
